CUMBERLAND AND WESTMORLAND STORY AND STOREY MEMORIALS.
"John Story of Garriestown, born July 17th 1836, died June 24th 1901.
Jane, wife of the above, born April 3rd 1839, died June 22nd 1901.
Richard Story died in Infancy.
Robert Story second son of the above born 29th January 1867, died December 24th 1911. Interred at St. Cuthbert's, Durham."

ROCKCLIFFE DEMESNE STORYS.
    William Story died May 12th, 1860, aged 48.
    Ann Story died March 25th, 1889, aged 75.
    Francis Story died January 11th, 1851, aged 18.
    James Story died In infancy.
    George Story died April 19th, 1859, aged 7.
    Ann Story, daughter, died April 16th, 1865, aged 30.
    James Story died November 16th, 1888, aged 39.
    William Story died November 22nd, 1889, aged 52.
    Elizabeth Story died August 21st, 1910, aged 63.
FROM GREAT ORTON CHURCHYARD.
"Christopher Story of Little Orton, who died September 20th 1838, aged 84 years. Also Ann his wife who died October 20th, 1837, aged 80 years.

"Christopher Story, who died at Great Orton, October 1st 1900, aged 66. Also, Joseph Gate Story son of the above who died at Kirkbride, December 6th 1889 aged 7 months. Also of Sarah Jane daughter of the above who died at Greenspot October 31st, 1901."
"Robert, son of Robert and Mary Story of Little Orton, who died at Rigg Head, Kirklinton, December 12th 1867 aged 21. Also of the above Mary Story who died at Rigg Head, February 3rd 1878 aged 72 years. Also of the above Robert Story, who died at Little Orton, March 18th 1884 aged 80 years. Also of John, their son, who died at Little Orton, July 4th 1888, aged 46 years."

In Bowness-on-Solway are buried:-
Thomas Story of Greenspot died April 2nd 1891 aged 74 years. William, his son, died Oct: 3rd 1900, aged 40 years.
John Storey of Millrigg, died 4th April 1898, aged 86 years. Mary, his wife, died September 14th 1888. Mary, daughter, died April 8th 1898 aged 50 years.

FROM KIRKLINTON CHURCHYARD.
In memory of Mary Eleanor Storey, daughter of John and Elizabeth Storey, who died at Henry's Hill, July 16th 1873 in the 7th year of her age. Also of Ellen, daughter of the above, who died at Priestown December 19th 1879 aged 11. Also the above John Story who died June 17th 1902 aged 63 years.
There is a tombstone with the name of Holliday thereon and a Jane Storey, daughter of John and Mary Holliday, which denotes an alliance.
The Jane Storey died at Oakmere, Cheshire, September 28th 1896 aged 41.
There is another memorial to Francis Story eldest son of Thomas and Jane Story of Stanwix, born December 9th 1809, died October 29th 1825.
Also to Thomas Story who died at Stainton, September 11th 1845, aged 60 years. To John, son, who died at Botcherby, May 14th 1865. aged 44 years.
Jane, widow of above, died at Belah Cottage, June 22nd 1870, aged 83.
Another tombstone is to Mary, wife of Thomas Story of the Lake, who died May 21st 1830, aged 72. The Thomas died November 29th 1830, aged 73.
