NOTES.
Elias Story who came over in the "Mayflower" died the next spring. He was a young
man. We have never heard of his being of our family. In the Mayflower list he is
put down as under 21 years, single and under-servant of Gov. Winslow. I have seen
records of a Story family, mentioned in "Savage's Genealogical Dictionary,"
who were in Mass. about 1636/45-which we have not been able to connect with our
family. My father's name is in "Matthew's American Armory," published by John
Matthews, London.
